It’s ~officially~ summer and we KNOW those Italian summer vibes are showing up hardcore on your social media homepages.

You’re manifesting all the riviera vibes, have Silenzio Bruno and Chiquitita saved at the top of your TikTok sounds, practiced ordering an Aperol spritz in Italiano, and have Scott’s Cheap Flights secretly pulled up in the other tab while you work.

But then it hits you like a ton of bricks…

…you have no idea how you're gonna afford it all.

…your passport is non-existent.

…solo travel scares the shit out of you (how do you make friends??)

…you realize “travel hacking” sounds interesting…if only you *actually* knew what it meant, let alone how to do it.

And you can FEEL the dream of screaming Mamma Mia from a boat on the Mediterranean “slipping through your fingers”.

LET'S PLAN YOUR NEXT VACAY

Our fully remote team who has lived, worked, vacationed, and flown all over the world has compiled our favorite tips and tricks for all things travel.

We’ve traversed time zones and red eye flights, culture shock and solo travel, and now we’re bringing you our best-kept secrets so that you can see the world (without breaking the bank).

Meet our team of avid travelers

(and the authors of this course):

Tori, our founder & CEO has

1) Lived in Ireland, France, and Italy, and digital nomaded for nearly a year.

2) Booked multiple international flights for less than $600 to Australia, the UK, and New Zealand (from Seattle!)

3) Swam in a Costa Rican waterfall, eaten ramen in Japan, and toured the canals of Amsterdam.

Karina, our COO has

1) Both an American and British citizenship; was born in the States, grew up in England, and lived in Italy, and now Seattle —the seventh city she has called home.

2) Taken trains, planes, boats, buses, and car rides from strangers and newly-made friends across 34+ countries.

3) Received her first passport stamp at the age of two, took her first solo transatlantic flight at the age of six, and took her first transpacific flight at the age of twelve.

Sophia, our Projects & Partnerships manager has

1) Lived and worked remotely in both France and Switzerland at age 18.

2) Practiced immersing herself in the local language and culture through exploring anything from the small, rural towns of Italy, to the fast-paced environment of Paris.

3) Learned young about the benefits and how-tos of travel hacking, building a trip budget, and value-based spending as a young solo female traveler.

Alena, our Video Producer, has

1) Moved abroad multiple times to Germany, Sweden, and Australia- all by herself, unless you include her pup Farley:)

2) Lived and worked on a traveling carnival for a summer at age 18.

3) A personal goal to ski on every continent and scuba dive in every ocean.

Cherise, our Admin Manager has

1) Attended school in Ghana at age 18 and has traveled around Cape Coast, Kumasi, and the Volta Region. She also taught Math and English at the Basic School and volunteered at Beacon House Orphanage.

2) Participated in the Brussels European Forum with colleagues from across the world, and of course devoured countless waffles!

3) Recently took a spontaneous trip to Switzerland and was able to do so after following Tori’s tips for credit card management and practicing value-based spending.

Olivia, our Marketing Manager, has

1) Started a successful travel planning business and platform as a travel creator.

2) Lived abroad in Paris, London, and multiple cities in Italy, both as a solo traveler and with a partner.

3) Successfully used her travel credit card points to rack up some serious rewards like free flights, free baggage, rental car insurance, and discounted rates on products like AirPods.

In this course, I share my best practices and steps on how to navigate obstacles that arise with airlines, such as lost/stolen luggage or delayed/cancelled flights, etc. and how to redeem credit card points."

FAQs

Q. Is the material in this course live? Or can I move at my own pace?

A. No, this course is not live. Upon enrollment, you’ll gain access to all the modules of Worry-Free Wanderlust so you can move at your own pace.

We did this for two main reasons:

1. To give you the necessary time to absorb all this information and to actually take action.

2 To make it less likely you'd skip around, get overwhelmed, and give up on your goal of taking your dream vacay.

Oh, and another thing: The material in this course is organized in a particular order for a reason. Later sections will not make full sense without reading previous sections, and we’re priming your brain for optimal retention.

Q. Is this just for people based in the U.S.?

A. Nope! We offer resources in this course for folks based in our most commonly-requested countries: the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

However, anyone learning how to travel on a budget (from any country!) can use the information in this course!

Q. If I have technical issues, who should I contact?

A. If you forget your password, utilize the "forgot password?" option offered at login and our course host (Teachable) will get you set up ASAP. For any other tech problems, go ahead and send an email to [email protected] and we’ll take care of you as soon as we can!

We know your #1 fear when it comes to travel…How can I afford it?!

What if we told you it’s way more accessible than you may think?

All you need to do is STOP scouring the internet or absolutely winging it and START learning from expert budget travelers who have “been there, done that” so you don’t have to!
